VIRTUAL MEETING

Join us on Thursday, June 4th as we host our next SacFuel chapter meeting. At this meeting, SacFuel members will have opportunities to network and hear from Palo Alto Networks experts!

Agenda

11:00am – 11:15am:  Welcome & Introductions

11:15am - 12:15pm:  Prisma Access Deep Dive - Roger Schotsal
Palo Alto Networks first firewall platform was the physical form factor - then the cloud became a thing and we released the VM-Series our second firewall form factor.  You may have heard of Prisma Access but, are not sure exactly what it is.  Think of it as Palo Alto Networks 3rd firewall form factor (cloud).  All your users — at headquarters, office branches, and on the road — can connect to Prisma Access to safely use the internet, cloud and data center applications. You get protection at scale with global coverage, so you don’t have to worry about things like sizing and deploying firewalls at your branches, or building out and managing appliances in colocation facilities.  The best part about it - as a current Palo Alto Networks firewall administrator you already have the skills to manage the solution.  In this presentation we'll do a deep dive on what Prisma Access is and how to manage it - we'll also take a look at a live deployment to compare and contrast physical firewalls with Prisma Access so you can see how similar they really are.

12:15pm - 12:30pm:  Announcements

12:30pm - 1:30pm:  CloudGenix AppFabric - Yash Bajpai
CloudGenix AppFabric gives you the freedom to incorporate any type of WAN into your branch office—including MPLS, broadband Internet, and cellular—allowing you to make connectivity decisions based on the price and performance demanded by each branch office and each application.
