We have an exciting Fuel Chapter meeting coming up on Wednesday 23 October at Hoyts Cinema Broadway! We'll start off with a couple of brief and informative sessions from Teachers Federation Health & UTS Insearch, followed by an exclusive screening of the new Movie release - Joker.

Session 1: Enhancing and Validating Controls with a Best Practice Assessment (BPA)

Speaker: Dinesh Babu, Manager of Information Security at Teachers Federation Health

For over 12 months Dinesh and his team have been using the Best Practice Assessment (BPA) to enhance and validate their security controls. Learn why the BPA has been the key tool for benchmark-marking their NGFW configs and validating both the overall security posture as well as compliance, particularly after his network team and the outsource managed service provider have been asked for approved changes.

Session 2: Cortex XDR at UTS Insearch

Speaker: Ian Jackson, Senior Systems Administrator at UTS Insearch

UTS Insearch was our first customer in NSW (and first university in Australia) to adopt Cortex XDR - Palo Alto Networks' exciting new cloud-based detection and response app, designed to remove security blind spots by stitching together network, endpoint and cloud data. Hear a first-hand account of their experience with the solution to date, including detection and response improvements, technical tips and lessons learned.

Session 3: Movie: Joker

*As we have limited capacity for everyone to enjoy this special event, please only sign-up if you are absolutely able to attend.
