AGENDA

3:00 – 3:15: Introductions & Welcome

3:15 – 4:45: Presentation from Unit 42 - Simon Conant, Palo Alto Networks

  • Just Another Day on the Internet - Simon Conant, Principal Researcher in the Unit 42 Threat Intelligence team, will discuss the current threat landscape. Simon will highlight several campaigns and review advances in malware, tactics, and cyber threats, that adversaries are using to breach modern enterprise networks.
  • Not Your Grandmother’s 419 - Simon Conant, Principal Researcher in the Unit 42 Threat Intelligence team, will discuss the use of malware in Business Email Compromise schemes, the number one financially-motivated cyber threat today.

4:45 – 5:15: Presentation from ProtectWise - David Gold, Vice President of Solutions Architecture, ProtectWise

  • Nowhere to Hide: How Automating Threat Detection Gives You the High Ground -  Many organizations are currently struggling to manage the number of alerts they are receiving from their known networks and devices, but you can’t address the threat you don’t know about. If you’re still managing and mitigating threats manually, you’re giving your organizations’ enemies too many opportunities to find and exploit blind spots and gaps before you can address them. Join ProtectWise to learn where and why you should be utilizing automated threat intelligence, what the impact is of automation by looking at real world examples, and how to expand your visibility beyond your organization and into the cloud. Get ready to give your organization the advantage in the fight to protect your organization.

5:15 – 6:00: Open Discussion and Q&A
